FSARS OFFICER WHO SHOT LASTMA OFFICER DEAD IN LAGOS. HE DIED AFTER BEING BEATEN BY A MOB FOR SHOOTING THE LASTMA OFFICER

Police Inspector Olukunle Olonade attached to FSARS Ikeja who was alleged to have shot a LASTMA official, Rotimi Adeyemi, dead in the Iyana Ipaja area of Lagos state yesterday November 28th, has died. He died shortly after arriving at the hospital. He had been beaten by a mob after he shot Adeyemi.

 

A statement from the spokesperson of the state police command, CSP Chike Oti, says the state commissioner of police, CP Edgal Imohimi, has ordered the FSARS officer be tried posthumously. Read the statement below

On 28/11/18, at about 1800hrs, the driver of a Toyota Highlander SUV, with registration number LSR 277 BJ, later identified as Police Inspector Olukunle Olonade attached to FSARS Ikeja while driving along Iyana-Ipaja road, was contravened for driving against traffic by a LASTMA official, one Rotimi Adeyemi, aged 46 years at Iyana-Ipaja roundabout.

The two men vehemently disagreed with each other. However, during the altercation, the said Inspector Olukunle Olonade allegedly shot the LASTMA officer to death. 

Consequently, irate mob, who thought that the shooter was an armed hoodlum because he was in mufti, decended on him and beat him to stupor.

Although he was later rescued by teams of policemen drafted to the scene, he later gave up the ghost while being rushed to hospital for treatment. 

The serial number of the pistol recovered at the scene was checked in the system and it revealed the bearer as Inspector Olukunle Olonade attached to FSARS Ikeja.
Corpses of the deceased have been evacuated to the morgue for autopsy. 

The CP Lagos has directed that the late Inspector Olakunle Olonade be tried posthumously in Orderly room and be recommended for dismissal from the Force.

"GAME OF THRONES" REUNION SPECIAL REUNITES :"CASTS FROM ALL SEASONS;:

If only we could rewrite the Red Wedding. 

Game Of Thrones is one of the most popular shows on the planet, but it will end soon. Season eight will conclude the story of the Stark, Lannister, and Targaryen stories. The show's creators have promised that the final season will be the most epic event the show has debuted, which is saying something. Episodes like "The Battle of the Bastards," "The Rains of Castamere," and "Hardhome" have all left fans quivering in a mix of disbelief and excitement. What could be more epic than watching Jon Snow defeat Ramsay Bolton? Apparently, season eight will educate us. 

As reported by Entertainment Weekly, a Game of Thrones reunion was filmed in Belfast earlier this year. Actors who have been long dead, such as Sean Bean, were in attendance at the event. Jason Momoa was also seen out in Belfast, but his involvement in the reunion hasn't been confirmed. We're sure that if they brought back Ned Stark, a long list of other deceased stars will join him in the show's final bow. Conan 'O Brien hosted the reunion special, which was not confirmed by HBO at the time. Now, the ever-secretive Game of Thrones team has confirmed the reunion special, but it won't be airing on television.

The reunion special will be included in a box set of seasons one through eight. Obviously, the set will not be released until the series finale wraps on HBO. The final season of Game of Thrones begins April 2019.

J.I.D. stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night, and he brought BJ the Chicago Kid along with him. Together, the two artists delivered a spirited performance of "Skrawberries," a stand-out track off DiCaprio 2. As the performance begins, J.I.D shows love and respect for Mac Miller, who along with J. Cole and Masego is credited with producing the track. Mac is listed as an associated performer on the song, for curating the single's placement on the album. Masego helped with keyboard work. J.I.D jumps into the performance from there.

The Dreamville lyricist performs in front of a screen that displays a visual that appears to be underwater. The underwater vibe can be a nod to Mac Miller's Swimming, but J.I.D undoubtedly layered several reasons behind using the mood setting prop. He and BJ the Chicago Kid are doused in a blue aura from the screen as they lay down "Skrawberries." 

J.I.D. told Billboard how Mac influenced the arrangement of the song. "He touched on like five or six songs on the project, you know what I'm saying? Before he passed," he revealed. "Like "Scrawberry," he's the reason that shit sound like that. Produced by [J.] Cole, Masego played on it, Ron Gilmore and Elite played on it, BJ Chicago kid sang and Mac Miller arranged it."

MEEK MILL' TALKS ON TEKASHI '6IX9INE'S IMPRISONMENT

The prison-reform pioneer says Tekashi could have benefitted from some guidance.

Meek Mill would have wanted to provide Tekashi 6ix9ine with some advice. From his perspective, 69's trajectory could have been different if he minimized the gangster-like antics once he passed a certain threshold of fame.

PUSHA T' ISN'T READY TO SPILL THE BEANS WITH DRAKE

Pusha T isn't ready to spill the beans.

According to Page Six, King Push is done talking about his beef with Drake, even though his feelings on the issue remain slightly ajar. Their feud was thrust back into the spotlight. It all occurred last week when Pusha T was unceremoniously met with soda water by audience members at his Toronto concert.

As you may recall, retribution was inevitably served with a cold blade. Needless to say, Drake was probably not involved in the encounter, but that doesn't change the fact that an overwhelming anti-Pusha T sentiment exists in Toronto, of its own free will. We should be mindful of the difference between the cogent point of their feud, and its spillover effect. With that said, Pusha T isn't ready to address the Toronto incident, he made that abundantly clear in his conversation with Page Six this week.

"I do feel like I get the respect I deserve, totally," he said, after staking his ground and limiting the conversation to all things 'Non-Drake.' "But I do look back and think sometimes, and say, 'If I had done things differently I could be a stronger force in hip-hop.'"

Pusha would go to address the curious nature of his split from brother No Malice. He believes The Clipse partnership ended for a reason: in order to preserve its legacy several years down the line.

"There’s a ton of things I could’ve done differently. I’ve had a couple label hiccups in the past, where we tried to get out of the label who had us on hiatus for four years. Within that time, we started a mixtape series. But if we had just kept feeding our fan base . . . the sound might be a bit more universal and commercial," he added.

Pusha T will inevitably address the Toronto incident when he deems it necessary. For now, we'll have to contend with his other initiatives, among them, a new partnership with the liquor brand 1800 Tequila.

French Montana sat down for a recent interview and dispelled anyone's claim that they're the King of NY if their name isn't Jay-Z. 

"First of all, you can't say you the King Of New York when Jay-Z's still alive," he said. "I feel like where he at, he reminds me of me and Max B during out Coke Wave days." 

French Montana continued to explain how 6ix9ine and Max B's situations are similar before revealing that Fat Joe gave him similar advice that he gave 6ix9ine a few months ago. Although French actually listened to Fat Joe's advice, he doesn't blame 6ix9ine for not doing the same

Man arrested after his two children were found dead inside a deep freezer in Ikorodu

The Lagos state police comand has arrested one Michael Ede,  following the mysterious death of his two children. Michael and his two children, Emma, 6, and Darasimi, 4, had gone to bed on Sunday November 11th at their home in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State and accoridng to Micahel, he woke up at 2am and found his children dead. He says he has no idea how they were killed and that he found them in the freezer.

 

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, CSP Chike Oti, said Michael has been arrested for questioning.

“One Michael Ede came to the station to report that around midnight on Sunday, November 11, 2018, he and his two children, Emma Ede, 6, and Darasimi Ede, 4, slept in his bedroom with all the apartment’s doors securely locked. But unfortunately, when he woke up to urinate in the middle of the night, he could not find his children, but after searching for them, he found them dead inside the freezer.

“The corpses have been evacuated to the General Hospital. We are investigating the matter and we have arrested the kids’ father for questioning'' he said

Oti added that the state Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi, has directed the homicide section of the State Criminal and Investigative Department to take over the case for thorough investigation.

Poignant final message of Marvel comics creator before he passed away @95

Marvel Comics creator Stan Lee passed away on Monday at Cedars- Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles.

The 95-year-old legend's last message before his death was a tweet paying tribute to his fellow veterans. Stan Lee was a veteran of the second world war.

The last post from the Marvel Comics creator's official Twitter account was posted just hours before he died.

A tweet posted on Stan's behalf read: "Thank you to all of America's veterans for your service. Fun fact: Stan’s official US Army title during WW2 was ‘Playwright.’ #VeteransDay"

Alongside the tweet was a black and white picture of Stan in his army uniform.

Bayern Munich Striker "FRANK RIBERY" slaps French reporter

Bayern Munich striker, Franck Ribery was reportedly involved in a physical confrontation with a French journalist after the club's 3-2 defeat to Borussia Dortmund this weekend.  

 

The club has confirmed that there was an 'altercation' between Ribery and TV reporter Patrick Guillou post-match. Eyewitness reports claimed the 35-year-old pushed and slapped the journalist but the club have insisted they are dealing with the matter internally.

 

Bayern's sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic said: 'Franck Ribery has informed us that he had an altercation with his compatriot Patrick Guillou, whom he has known well for many years. We agreed with Patrick Guillou that we would speak at a personal meeting, we will talk about how we can solve the matter, and Mr Guillou has already signaled that it is in his interest.'  

 

The incident reportedly started when Guillou appeared to blame Ribery for two of the goals during a post-match interview.

Stan Lee, the co-creator of Thor, Captain America, Spider man, Iron man & X-men is Dead.

Stan Lee, the legendary writer, editor and publisher of Marvel Comics whose creations made him a real-life superhero to comic book lovers everywhere, has died at the age of 95.

 

Lee, who began the business in 1939 and created or co-created Black Panther, Spider-Man, the X-Men, the Mighty Thor, Iron Man, the Fantastic Four, the Incredible Hulk, Daredevil and Ant-Man, among countless other characters.

 

He died early on Monday morning Nov. 12th at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

 

Lee's final few years were tumultuous. After Joan, his wife of 69 years, died in July 2017, he sued executives at POW! Entertainment, a company he founded in 2001 to develop film, TV and video game properties for $1 billion alleging fraud, then abruptly dropped the suit weeks later. He also sued his ex-business manager and filed for a restraining order against a man who had been handling his affairs.

 

And in June 2018, it was revealed that the Los Angeles Police Department had been investigating reports of elder abuse against him.  

 

Lee catapulted Marvel from a tiny venture into the world's No. 1 publisher of comic books and, later, a multimedia giant. In 2009, The Walt Disney Co. bought Marvel Entertainment for $4 billion. Stan was worth $70million at the time of his death.

England & LIVERPOOL Striker, Daniel Sturridge Charged with two breaches of FA's betting rules

England and Liverpool striker, Daniel Sturridge, has been charged with misconduct in relation to alleged breaches of The FA's Betting Rules.

 

The governing body announced on Monday that Sturridge's alleged breaches were in relation to passing on information about players, managers, team selection or disciplinary matters, which was not publicly available at the time.  

 

The charges relate to breaches of Rules E8(1)(a)(ii) and E8(1)(b) during January of this year. 

 

Rule E8(1)(a) states that a participant shall not bet, either directly or indirectly, or instruct, permit, cause or enable any person to bet on – (i) the result, progress, conduct or any other aspect of, or occurrence in or in connection with, a football match or competition; or (ii) any other matter concerning or related to football anywhere in the world, including, for example and without limitation, the transfer of players, employment of managers, team selection or disciplinary matters.

Rule E8(1)(b) refers to when where a participant provides to any other person any information relating to football which the participant has obtained by virtue of his or her position within the game and which is not publicly available at that time, the participant shall be in breach of this Rule where any of that information is used by that other person for, or in relation to, betting. 

A Liverpool spokesperson made a statement on Monday evening following the announcement.

'Daniel has given his full and unequivocal cooperation throughout this process and has assured the club he will continue to do so,' he said.

'Daniel has also stated categorically that he has never gambled on football.

'As with any issue of this nature, we will allow the process to be concluded in its entirety before making any further comment.' 

Sturridge has until 6pm on Tuesday 20 November 2018 to respond to the charge.

Ekiti House of Assembly member, Michael Adedeji, shot dead by an unknown assassin.

A member of Ekiti State House of Assembly, Mr. Michael Adedeji, who was shot in the head by unknown gunmen on Friday October 26th, has died. 

Adedeji who represents Ekiti Southwest Constituency II in the state house of Assembly, was trailed and killed by yet to be identified gunmen as he was said to be travelling to Akure, the Ondo State capital. The gunmen reportedly opened fire on him when he tried to reverse his car to escape from them.

He was rushed to the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital where he had been receiving treatment.

Sources at the House of Assembly who spoke to Tribune said it was not officially revealed yet but “we can confirm that Honourable Adedeji has died at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido Ekiti (FETHI) where he has been rushed to when he incident occurred.”

After beating McGregor, Khabib calls out Mayweather and he accepts his challenge to prove himself as King of the Jungle

Undefeated boxing champion, Floyd Mayweather, has accepted the challenge posed to him by UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

The Russian who defeated Irish Conor McGregor in their blockbuster UFC bout two weeks ago to claim his 27th victory out 27 fights,  called out Mayweather last week as his opponent he would love to face. 

The unbeaten wrestler said: 'Let's go Floyd, we have to fight now, 51-0 vs 27-0, two guys who have never lost.

'Because in the jungle there is only one king. Of course, I am the king because he cannot drop McGregor but I dropped him easily.' 

The retired boxer who hung up his gloves after beating McGregor last August and clinched  51st victory out of 51 fights responded in typical fashion, saying: 'Let's make Las Vegas great again,' and called on the major television networks to get their checkbooks out.

Quack claims he slept with Nicki Minaj on new track 'Huncho Dreams'

Migos rapper, Quavo who just released his album “Quavo Huncho” has left many wondering after he made claims that he slept with Nicki Minaj.

The rapper made the claim in the  “Huncho Dreams” which is an obvious response to Nicki Minaj’s “Barbie Dreams”. In her song, Nicki jokes about sleeping with rappers in the industry. 

She says of Quavo:  “Somebody go and make sure Karrueche okay though / I heard she think I’m tryna give the coochie to Quavo.”

Now, Quavo has hit back at Nicki by responding with an entire song dedicated to her.

“Made her scream (Scream) / Chanel, I bought her two of ’em / You can check IG (Hey, IG) / ‘Cause when she post, it go up (Go)”

He also references Nicki Minaj being upset with him over not defending her to Cardi B over the whole “Motorsport” fiasco.

Quavo references he and Nicki’s duet, “She For Keeps”.

He refers to himself as video game character Bison from Street Fighter. Nicki often refers herself to Street Fighter character Chun Li.

Actress and comedian, Rosie O'Donnell's girlfriend has confirmed the couple's engagement via social media.

Christine Rooney, 33,updated her Instagram bio and appeared to confirm that she was set to marry the 56-year-old Sleepless In Seattle actress.

The policewomen who has been dating Rosie for about a year added the letter 'R' to her social media account, followed by a ring emoji. 

This will be Rooney's first marriage and O'Donnell's third. O'Donnell was married to Michelle Rounds for three years before the two endured a nasty divorce in 2015. 

Before Rounds, she was married to Kelli Carpenter-O'Donnell from 2004 to 2007.
